Description

Reach great heights this summer with our summer recreation leaders as we will take on Castle Rock! As a group we’ll venture to the top of the rock and back again, leaving room for games, water breaks, and plant ID. This roughly 9 km hike will be tiring but rewarding. No experience is necessary; we’ll be going at a comfortable pace and welcome kids with all hiking levels. Bring lots of water and snacks to stay fueled for the whole day! We hope to see all the miniature mountaineers’ summit with us this summer! Programs will run rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather. Bringing water, sunscreen, and a lunch with extra snacks throughout the day is recommended.
