Beginning students examine color and technique using a color wheel, value and chroma studies, and practice with graded, blended and wet-into-wet washes. Students paint images from observation by the fifth week. Advanced students work from a new syllabus with projects to inspire! For example, look at the figure from student models, paying attention to proportion, shadow and highlights, and facial and clothing details.
