Kickstart one of the most crucial—and sometimes frustrating—tasks of your senior year! In this focused course, we’ll tackle everything from the Common Application prompts to the sometimes quirky, school-specific questions that can challenge even enthusiastic writers. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with at least two polished essays that offer admissions officers a window into some of your values and unique perspectives. Instructor: Shannon Duff Associate Director of College Counseling Education: B.A., Yale College M.B.A., Yale School of Management Ms. Duff has been an Associate Director of College Counseling at Oxbridge Academy since 2019. Previously, she worked as an independent college advisor in the New York City metro area and in Los Angeles. As a graduate student, Ms. Duff worked as a reader for Yale's Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Shannon also worked in structured finance and asset management at an investment bank.
