This course will take students through the primary flight training process, from pre-flight to mastering the maneuvers necessary to pass the Private Pilot check-ride. We will start with the basics, understanding how the airplane functions and is controlled with the primary and secondary flight controls. As students progress, they will gain an understanding of the instruments and controls in the cockpit, empowering them to navigate the skies confidently. By the end of the class, all students will be able to describe and use all the instruments and controls in the cockpit and be able to taxi and fly the traffic pattern at both controlled and non-controlled airports.
