Leader: Genevieve Wall You don’t need to go far by car to enjoy the great outdoors! In this series, we’ll explore the progression of spring one metro stop at a time. As we venture through serene river views, lush stream valleys, and lakeside trails of these metro-accessible parks, we’ll learn about the wildlife and natural history that we encounter along the way. The leader will meet you at the metro right outside the exit turnstile. Expect a 10-15 minute walk from metro station to the trail entrance of these urban parks. We will wander the trails, traveling at the pace of curiosity and stopping often to learn about whatever we encounter along the way.
