About this event
Instructor: Ms. Laura 1.5 hour class! Small class of 12 students max. Get your hands into clay! Learn where clay comes from and many ways to use it. From coiling to slab and pottery, make and glaze your creations. Learn pottery wheel safety and basics, and work on making functional ware you can really use. Glaze and firing fees included in tuition. This is an ongoing class during the school year. The successful completion of this course by 6th graders prepares students for Ceramics & Pottery 1. Grades 3rd-6th or by Instructor's permission. Clay and firing cost covered. Additional clay may be purchased for Open Studio times. Payment plans available. Financial assistance available for qualifying students. Please email for an application if you need assistance in making sure your student can participate.
