REQUIRED Pre-requisite: Taking our Wheel Curious class 8/1/25 or later, or at least one Let's Throw session for students 18+. Younger students considered on a case-by-case basis. ONLY registered individuals may be present in the studio space, sorry but you cannot bring kids or friends to this session. Come back to the studio to throw on the wheel! This Open Studio session books one of our pottery wheels for you for a two-hour block. No instructor or teaching is available, you're on your own. You'll have access to all throwing tools, one wheel station, and our aprons. At this time, outside clays that have high iron content (red or brown clays) are not allowed due to our reclaim processes. We are an all low-fire studio, and currently use Georgie's "Wonder White". All Open Studio participants are expected to stop their throwing with enough time to clean up by the end of their scheduled session. (We suggest setting an alarm, and giving yourself 30 full minutes if it's been a while!) If you make something you'd like us to fire for you, you can pay per piece on site via Venmo, exact cash, or check. You'll be required to sign an agreement in person when you arrive that states you understand you're responsible for wheel safety and cleanup while you're in the studio.
