K-9 Nose Work Level 1 No prior training is required. The method taught in this class is the same method used to instruct to Police and Military Detector Dog Handlers. Nose work is a great way to build a better bond with your dogs, stimulate their minds, exercise and improve their working and obedience skills. This is a low-impact course that is open to dogs of all ages. This introductory course will teach the handler needed skills in working search patterns, learn terminology, imprint one scent odor through a reward-based systems leading to problem solving using the dog’s natural hunt drive.
