Do you like to sing in the shower? Or maybe car karaoke more your speed?

One Day Choir is a participatory music experience where a group of people with no previous choir experience come together and, in a single session, learn and perform a song as a choir. The focus is not on musical training, but on connection, participation, and shared experience through singing. In this program, participants will:

• Engage in simple vocal warm-ups

• Learn basic rhythm and group singing techniques

• Rehearse a short, accessible choral arrangement

• Sing together as a group in a final informal performance

No prior singing experience or preparation is required. The session is designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and suitable for adults of all ages.

The workshop is led by Mauro Perelmann, a choir director, composer, arranger, and music educator with over 30 years of experience in community music settings.
