These classes are group lessons for beginners to intermediate, who will work in an interactive setting, observing keyboard geography, counting and rhythms. Learn to recognize chords and harmonic patterns in music and experiment with "thinking outside the box" techniques. Younger participants can find confidence in picking out notes and play with sound.
Games and activities that reinforce various musical concepts such as tempo, pitch, finger placement, etc. Each class provides for team-building, creativity and improvisation. Six classes per session are included in this program.
Keyboards are provided and used for all lessons; no outside instruments will be used. If you have your own keyboard, let us know that you'd like to be added to our list of future classes as more instructors become available.
