Day Camp at Woodend—one day of traveling and one campout night at Woodend. Ever wanted to go camping but felt like you didn’t have the skills or knowledge? Learn how to build a fire, pitch a tent, and cook over a campfire. We’ll also explore some fun local hiking spots. Then on Thursday night we will put our skills to the test with a campout at Woodend. Traveling day camp based at Woodend Dust off those hats and hiking boots for an adventure into the farms of Maryland. Experience a real working farm, pick your own fruits and veggies, meet farm animals, and find out where the food on your table comes from. We will visit local farms and gardens and make some delicious food from our own Children’s Garden.
