Drawing: Beginning Figure
Instructor: Dan Keller
In this class, students will be introduced to drawing the figure from a live model.
This includes training the eye how to see the shapes and proportion of a figure
and capture that in a drawing. Through demonstrations and individual instruction,
students will develop the basic skills of figure drawing such as proportion, gesture,
practical anatomy, lighting, and constructing form.
Prerequisite: Students must have some experience with basic drawing
before taking this class.
