Learn the basics of hand-built clay sculpture. How to attach clay-to-clay, coil and slab construction, decorating techniques, use of underglazes and decorative glazes. Projects may include functional and/or decorative pieces. The material fee includes use of aprons, the clay, a set of clay tools, use of other tools, glazing and kiln firing.
A material fee of $40 is payable to the instructor at the first class meeting.
Class on 11/11 will be held at the Travis Ranch Activity Center. No class on 11/25.
