This beginning clay hand-building class introduces foundational ceramic techniques-such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction-without using a pottery wheel. Students will learn how to prepare clay, join pieces securely by scoring, shape functional or decorative objects, and decorate and glaze their finished pieces. Learn a new skill or revisit an old hobby in this fun introductory class!

A material fee of $35 is payable to the instructor at the first class meeting. Pieces will be kiln fired. Aprons and art supplies provided.
