We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Sunday, March 26, 2023.
Prepare your dog to help others through therapy dog work. Class consists of intermediate commands such as sit-stay with duration/distraction, recall, leave it, heeling and exposure to medical equipment. AKC Canine Good Citizen test and Independent Therapy dog test is given on week 6. Dogs must be 1 year old and have full vaccine record. Separate fee for AKC award and therapy dog certification.
Class is for non-aggressive dogs.
