We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Prepare your dog dog to assist others through therapy dog work. Class consists of intermediate commands such as sit-stay with duration and distractions, recall, leave it, heeling and exposure to medical equipment. AKC Canine Good Citizen test and therapy dog test given on week 6. Dogs must be at least 1 year old and full vaccines. Separate fee for CGC and therapy dog certification.
Class is for non-aggressive dogs. Must know basic commands sit, stay and down.
A $15 material fee is payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
