Art! Art! Art! - Camp Leader- Katherine Angell - June 26-30 - 9am-2pm - Rising 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th Graders - $300 (Lunch included) - Enjoy Art! Create Art! Research Art! - Art is a team effort between the artist and the viewer. In this camp, students will consider how to interpret art from their own point of view. - This camp uses Summit’s collection of 100+ pieces of original art, including works by many well-known local artists. - Be inspired by the works on display to make your own art by exploring different materials and genres. - Develop confidence in your point of view and creativity in your artistic expression. - Learn how to write museum labels for works of art by researching the art and the artist. - A trip to nearby Reynolda House or SECCA will be scheduled. Campers will walk or ride a Summit bus depending on the weather.
