INSTRUCTOR: Emily Blomquist LOCATION: LOWER SCHOOL ART ROOM PICK UP IS IN THE CLASSROOM 7 WEEKS Crafting FUR-tastic Estates for Furry Friends: Calling all young lady animal lovers, future vets, and aspiring pet rescuers! We’re thrilled to invite your young pet enthusiasts to our Pet Palaces community school program, where they'll embark on an exciting journey crafting FUR-tastic estates for their beloved toy pets! Each week, the girls will dive into imaginative play and hands-on activities, designing dream homes for their furry friends out of adorable wooden doll houses. From cozy pet bedrooms to creative playgrounds, each class offers a new challenge to develop their architecture and design skills. This program is especially perfect for girls who love collecting and caring for their favorite characters from collections like Bluey, Littlest Pet Shop, and Calico Critters! Alongside crafting these amazing pet palaces, the girls will get to immerse themselves in vet-themed activities, such as role-playing as vets and pet owners, examining x-rays, and learning pet-care basics. As a highlight, they’ll even have the chance to sew their own little pet, officially adopting it as they welcome it into its custom-made palace! Get ready for an unforgettable experience filled with creativity, friendship, and the joy of building magical homes for furry friends. We can’t wait to see what they create!
