West Hollywood Aquatics SpringFest 2023 Cardboard Boat Race
On Saturday, April 15, from 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., two-person teams of all ages will test their ingenuity in racing homemade Boats made of cardboard and duct tape across the West Hollywood Aquatics pool. This is one of several activities being offered at the Aquatic Springfest 2023. Preregistration required to race your Boat. Register early and enjoy building your boat with friends and family! Entry is free per Boat. Maximum of 2 sailors per boat. This is a team registration. Please register once per Boat that will be entered in the event. Prizes will be given to the boats that finish in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Participants pre-register and bring their decorated cardboard Boats to the City of West Hollywood Aquatics Center and paddle their way across the length of the pool as spectators cheer on. The Cardboard Boat race Day pre-registration is free and early registration is encouraged. Pre-registration includes: 2 carboard boxes per team, 2 rolls of duck tape.
Pick up Days for Boat Building Materials: Monday to Friday Time: 9:00am – 7:00pm Location: West Hollywood Aquatics Center, 5th floor of ARC, Aquatics office.
