Artful Impressions - Printmaking & Mixed Media w/Marlene Adler A ten (10) session course No class on 1/16 and 2/20
This class will introduce students to the basic techniques of printmaking. There will be opportunities to explore color mixing along with the opportunity to create textures using various tools such as combs, sticks and objects found in nature. Images can be based on realism or abstract elements (shapes and lines). Printmaking processes will include monotypes, mono-prints, chine colle, transfer prints, collagraphs and relief prints. All of these processes will be clearly demonstrated along with basic collage techniques using various decorative textured papers and found objects. The class will explore the limitless ways in which materials can be combined to create beautiful and unique works of art.
This is a ten (10) week class from 1/9/23 - 3/27/23 There is no class on 1/16/23 and 2/20/23.
