Classroom instruction in the fundamentals of guitar performance, focusing on sightreading both standard notation and tablature, essential technical skills, improvisation, and general instruction pertaining to guitar maintenance and culture.

A copy of Hal Leonard Guitar Method Book 1 is needed for this course and can be purchased on Amazon or at your local music store.
