The Conservatory is happy to present the Guitar Summer Intensive Program (SIP) as a 4-day event to be held at the Downtown location. Led by an award-winning faculty, this program will be fantastic for classical guitarists who want to dedicate attention to their craft. The program emphasizes the development of technique and musicianship and is designed for any students with 1 year of experience.

Participants will take part in technique classes, masterclasses, guitar orchestra, small ensembles, as well as one-on-one individual lessons with VCM and guest faculty.
Recommended for students 10 years and up; younger students may be considered if recommended by faculty or their private teacher.

Refund Policy

Program viability is based upon minimum enrollment. As such, there are no refunds available after the registration deadline (in most cases, four weeks prior to the program start date), except in cases of injury or illness (for which a doctor’s note is required), or other exceptional circumstance, such as family re-location.
Prior to the registration deadline, tuition may be refunded, pending the approval of the Artistic Director. Application and transaction fees are non-refundable. Withdrawal requests must be made in writing to the Victoria Conservatory of Music’s Registrar’s Office. Requests made after the completion of a given program will not be considered.
