Description

This class is intended for students who have completed Level 1 of the Strings for Beginners class at Westhills. Designed for children ages 7 to 13 playing the violin, viola, or cello, this fun and interactive class provides a supportive environment where students build a strong musical foundation and explore the joy of making music! New students with some experience on their instrument may also sign up for this class with approval from the instructor.

Through weekly group lessons, students will develop posture, basic technique, rhythm, note-reading, and ensemble playing skills.
To ensure steady progress and a rewarding ensemble experience, students are expected to commit to the full year of instruction (30 sessions from October to June).
