Description

The Victoria Conservatory of Music is thrilled to offer Strings for Beginners, a group class for beginner string players at our Downtown location. Designed for children ages 6 + who are new to the violin, viola, or cello, this fun and interactive class provides a supportive environment where students build a strong musical foundation and explore the joy of making music!

Through weekly group lessons, students will develop posture, basic technique, rhythm, note-reading, and ensemble playing skills. By the end of the year, they will be able to play some of their favourite tunes—gaining confidence in their musical progress. Led by Maria Wang, the class also fosters musical curiosity and provides performance opportunities.
