Description

The recorder is an easy and inexpensive gateway to learning music. This class is designed for adult beginners learning on either soprano or alto recorder. Students will learn to read music, play simple duets and trios, and meet other players in a friendly, supportive environment.

Required materials:Soprano or Alto Recorder (Yamaha 300 series or Aulos Haka style plastic recommended)Basic Recorder Technique, Book 1 by Hugh Orr (soprano or alto edition)
Both the instrument and book are available at Long & McQuade or online.
Rehearsal dates are subject to change, according to the instructor's performing commitments.
