The VCM Downtown Cello Choir class will allow cellists, from young adults to seniors, to form an encouraging and fun learning space while playing as a group. The class will learn repertoire from classical original compositions to contemporary film and pop favourite arrangements in 2, 3, and 4-part harmony. Participants will develop their technique and listening skills and build their ensemble experience by blending multiple musical lines to create a unified sound. The class welcomes cellists with at least two years of cello-playing experience. Participants are encouraged to register for private lessons but are not required.
