Description
Spectrum Skateboard Society provides skateboard lessons to Neurodivergent children and youth. Skaters will practice positive communication and social skills while learning the basic fundamentals of skateboarding in a controlled and safe environment. We will teach proper stance, pushing, basic maneuvers, and skatepark etiquette. No experience is necessary. Proof of diagnosis is NOT required.If you qualify for Autism Funding or Scholarships, Please reach out to blair@spectrumskateboardsociety.ca
Helmets are mandatory (bike helmets are ok) and other protective gear is highly recommended. Parents/guardians must complete a waiver form on the first day of the program.
