About this event
ELECTRONICS: MOTORS & MOVEMENT (Part 1) Motors and moving electricity is changing the way we travel through the world around us! In this course you'll learn about electronic circuits, the common components they rely on, and how we design them. Then you'll focus on designing circuits with motors and build a project that uses motors to move around. VIRTUAL REALITY AND CODING: ADVENTURES IN VR (Part 2) Whether you're learning to operate some of the world's largest machinery from a classroom here in BC or practicing your skills before performing a rare surgery, VR is increasingly making the jump into real-world applications. In this course, students will explore all the basics of building their own VR environment and bringing it to life with coded animations. Students are encouraged to view and share their worlds through a variety of platforms, including on a laptop or Chromebook, a phone, or through Google cardboard. A laptop or Chromebook is required. No experience is required.
