Woodwind Specialist Noelle Presby holds a Master of Music from The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Music from Florida Atlantic University; both in clarinet performance. She has studied with world renowned clarinetists such as Anthony Gigliotti, Steven Barta, Edward Palanker and Paul Green. She is the former woodwinds professor at Cecil College and the current clarinet instructor at Harford Community College. She served as the clarinet adjudicator at Anne Arundel County Solo and Ensemble Festival in 2004 and as a panelist for the scholarship auditions at NDP since 2013. She has performed with groups such as the Florida Philharmonic, Symphony of the Americas, Boca Pops, Gold Coast Opera, Miami Opera, Florida Wind Symphony, North Carolina School of the Arts European Touring Summer Festival Orchestra, Midnight Moon Ensemble and Maryland Conservatory of Music Chamber Orchestra. Noelle Presby Lipa is a founding member of Quintaero Woodwind Quintet and also performs with Arioso Reed Trio. She was a substitute with Toby’s Dinner Theater as a reed tripler and as a soloist, she was featured with the St. Louis Church Concert Orchestra when she performed the Mozart Clarinet Concerto and a full length solo clarinet and flute recital in 2012. She has also performed on several faculty recitals including Towson University, Cecil College, Harford Community College, CCBC Essex, Bryn Mawr and Maryland Conservatory of Music. She has served in several pit orchestras and has been instructing all ages and levels on clarinet, flute and saxophone since 1997. She is or has been the clarinet and/or woodwind instructor at studios such as Towson University Preparatory, CCBC Essex and Dundalk Continuing Education, Maryland Conservatory of Music, Chesapeake Center of the Arts, Notre Dame Preparatory, Loyola Blakefield, Bryn Mawr, and Musician's Institute of Baltimore.
