Join artist Mat Barber Kennedy for this liberating three-day workshop integrating collage, transparency, and texture with watercolor. We will be working with watercolors, Matte Medium, and various papers to develop language and techniques that will bring depth and power to your work. Whether you paint landscapes, still lives, portraits, or abstracts, Mat will lead you through exercises and techniques that broaden your language and build your courage to create striking images that extend the possibilities of traditional watercolor. Mat Barber Kennedy is an internationally recognized painter from London. A member of The Royal Institute of Painters In Watercolour and a fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, he teaches at The American Academy of Art in Chicago, but this is the first time he has offered a workshop in Colorado. All Levels of Experience are welcome. Instruction Hours: 10:00 - 2:00 PM Open Studio Work Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Please see the required Student Materials on the Ah Haa Website.
