About this event
In our world today, emerging technologies have the potential to make great contributions to our world and it’s critical that all children are knowledgeable about the ethics behind emerging technologies and how they work. This workshop is a great first step for students to engage in the design, reflection, and participation in the decision[1]making processes for new technology and its use. We will have students understand the core concepts around emerging technology and how we can all shape and build more equitable technologies. Students leave this workshop with a new perspective of how emerging technologies work and most importantly become creators and not just consumers of technology. No device needed!
