June Dad's Day Dash: Celebrate Fathers Through Youth Fitness
Join us for the June Dad's Day Dash, a special Father's Month celebration that brings families together through the joy of running. This USATF-sanctioned event at scenic Pace Bend Park offers a unique opportunity to honor dads while promoting youth fitness and outdoor adventure.
What Makes This Event Special:- Father-Child Bonding: Create lasting memories with dad in a fun, active environment
- Age-Appropriate Courses: Specially designed routes for young runners ages 2-17
- Inclusive Atmosphere: Our 2K and 5K Fun Run/Walk welcomes participants of all ages and abilities
- Series Achievement: Each participant earns points toward their Travis County Kids Race Series completion medal
- Beautiful Setting: Enjoy stunning lake views along clearly marked routes at Pace Bend Park

Schedule:- 3:00 PM: Check-in opens
- 4:00 PM: First wave
- 4:30 PM: All Ages 2K Fun Run/Walk
- Ages 10-12: 2K
- Ages 8-9: 1K
- Ages 6-7: 0.75K
- Age 4-5: 0.25K
- Ages 2-3: 100m
- All Ages: 2K and 5K Fun Run/Walk
- Water bottle
- Comfortable running shoes (no metal cleats)
- Sun protection
- Change of clothes
- Small towel
- Camera for memories
- Parent/guardian must be present throughout event
- Park entry included with registration
- Runs rain or shine (unless severe weather)
- Limited capacity - early registration recommended
- Each participant must register separately
