Loop 1 kicks off with a 4.5 mile journey through the southern end of the park, winding across the creek and into the most densely wooded section of the trail. With 800 feet of elevation gain, it's a satisfying hike on its own.
Want more? Loop 2 sets out from the parking area into the heart of the park for an additional 4.5 miles and 530 feet of elevation, making it an excellent training hike for those preparing for the Scotland trip or anyone looking for a solid challenge.
