Description
Dr. Miriam Nelson, a professor at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, has developed a strength-training program specifically for midlife and older adults. The Strong People Program is an exercise program that will help you increase your strength, bone density, balance, and energy, and you will look and feel better! Brought to you in partnership with the Washington County Aging and Disability Resource Center.
Participants should wear: comfortable loose breathable clothing, closed toe shoes with rubber soles, preferably athletic shoes or sneakers, and minimal jewelry especially on hands or wrists.
This is a 12 week class. No class on 6/30, 7/2, 7/21, 9/01.
