This is a Custom Group Surf Lesson for Trail Mixed participants only. Learn to surf in a dynamic, fun and empowering group surf lesson during this Custom Women's Group Surf Lesson. Room for 12 enthusiastic students. Open to adults 21 and up. Student: teacher ratio is 4:1 or less. One surf instructor teaches group 3-4. Two instructors teach group 5-8. Three surf instructors teach 9-12. All NWWSC instructors are experienced, mature Northwest surfers, who’ve received certification with CPR and First Aid. Rescue surfboard and complete First Aid Kit are on beach at every lesson. Please Note: Equipment isn’t included in the cost of your group surf lesson. State of the art wetsuits, wetsuit parts (boots, gloves, hoods), surfboards and car racks are available to rent from our partner, Cleanline Surf Shop in Seaside and Cannon Beach, Oregon. Adult and teen all day surf package rentals cost $55, depending on your needs. Mention to Cleanline Staff that you have a lesson with NW Women’s Surf Camps to receive this special discount. Normal package pricing is $70. If you already have some of your gear, then Cleanline gives our lesson students 20% off gear you still need to rent. The board length to rent will be recommended by the Director of NWWSC for your lesson. Pack a large backpack (to put gear in), a large plastic bag( for wet and sandy gear after surfing), water, snack, towel, sunscreen, and sturdy sandals or tennies for your lesson. All students are provided Gath surf helmets during their lesson for concussion prevention, as well as a KIND bar and NWWSC Tidebook. Advanced beginner swimming skills are essential. Current Oregon COVID19 current guidelines are met.
