Learn to bodyboard in a dynamic, fun and empowering group bodyboard clinic during our Coed Group Bodyboard Clinics offered twice this summer season on the North Oregon Coast. July 23 and Sept 10 events. Room for 12 enthusiastic students. Open to adults and teens, women and men. Student: teacher ratio is 4:1 or less. All NWWSC instructors are experienced, mature Northwest bodyboarders, who’ve received certification with CPR and First Aid. Rescue surfboard and complete First Aid Kit are on beach at every lesson. Please Note: Equipment isn’t included in the cost of your group bodyboard clinic. State of the art wetsuits, wetsuit parts (5 mm fin socks, gloves, hoods), bodyboards and swimfins are available to rent from our partner, Cleanline Surf Shop in Seaside and Cannon Beach, Oregon. Adult and teen all day bodyboard package rentals cost $55, depending on your needs. Mention to Cleanline Staff that you have a clinic with NW Women’s Surf Camps to receive this special discount. Normal package pricing is $70. If you already have some of your gear, then Cleanline gives our lesson students 20% off gear you still need to rent. Adults and teens request a 42” bodyboard. If you are a larger adult or teen, both in height and weight, then request a 45” bodyboard. Pack a large backpack (to put gear in), a large plastic bag( for wet and sandy gear after surfing), water, snack, towel, sunscreen, and sturdy sandals or tennies for your lesson. All students are provided a KIND bar and NWWSC Tidebook. Advanced beginner swimming skills are essential. Ages 13 to 70 years young. Current COVID19 current guidelines are met.
