NEW for 2023, Advanced Beginner Women Group Surf Coached sessions. Learn the skills essential to progress from a beginner surfer who is successfully “popping up into their surf stance” on the inside white water to an advanced/intermediate surfer on the outside break. Gain the insights on skills and knowledge that you can then practice and hone in to progress on your surfing path! Paddling out techniques to successfully make it to the outside break, lining up on the outside break, wave etiquette with others on the peak, reading and judging waves for you success, positioning on your drop in, catching green water waves instead of just white water or waves that have already broken, surfing down the line, surf science and more. NWWSC's experienced, mature women surf coaches will share their years of wave catching knowledge and skills, with each and every student. Teens and adults of both sexes can join these events. Book more than one session date and receive multi-discount pricing, saving you $10 per session. Students will need to bring their own surfboard with leash, booties, gloves, hood and wetsuit to the event meet up. No rentals are included in these sessions cost. If you need to rent some gear, Cleanline Surf Shop offers 20% off of all rental gear to our students. Just let them know you are in a session with NWWSC to receive this discounted pricing. The Director can offer you a board recommendation, prior to the coaches session, if you would like one, based on what you have been riding, how long, your personal stats and how often you are committing to surfing.
