Make one-of-a-kind stoneware projects from sculptural pieces to plates, bowls and vases. Various hand-building techniques are taught in addition to basic work on the potter’s wheel. Advanced students are welcome to come work on their own projects. All pieces are glazed and fired. Classes are taught in a relaxed atmosphere where students are encouraged to use their imagination. Repeating students can continue their own journey of ceramic exploration. Clothing may get messy; appropriate attire is recommended. All supplies are included in the fee. The last 15 minutes of each class is reserved for clean-up.
