All the fun of Coastal Camp, taken to the next level for our older campers! This program is designed to further the Leaders-in-Training as environmental stewards, activists, educators and enthusiasts. LITs will have the opportunity to plan hikes, lead team building activities and learn all about local environmental problems and solutions. This program is designed to build skills, create memories, and foster a love for nature that will last a lifetime. New this year, all LITs will experience a day of kayaking in the Bay! Activities may include: - Visiting the Climate Solutions Lab to design and build a solution to an environmental problem - Planning a challenge hike in the Headlands - Designing the perfect national park - Participating in citizen science projects and park stewardship activities - Kayaking in the San Francisco Bay
