About this event
As the next generation of environmental stewards, activists, educators and enthusiasts, this program will help LITs develop and foster a love of nature. LITs will learn valuable leadership skills through planning hikes, team-building activities and teaching younger campers. This program is designed to build skills, create memories and make friends that will last a lifetime. Program Highlights Include: Planning a challenge hike along the group’s chosen route. Designing the perfect national park. Participating in several community science and park stewardship activities. Discovering how to become local EcoHeroes.
