Activity Organizer: Ms. Banga Email: manisha.banga@basisindependent.com Dates: 2nd Tuesday of each month Time: 4:00 PM–5:00 PM Grades: 7–12 Cost: $100 Description: The Mental Wellbeing and Activism club will be a club focused on raising mental health awareness and promoting the mental wellbeing and welfare of club members. The club will educate club members on topics relating to mental health by bringing in guest speakers, and will bring awareness to the school by making and putting up posters around BISV, and will also host fundraisers for mental health charities. The MWA club will also introduce mental health volunteer opportunities to participants, and will promote the mental well-being of club members through group discussions about mental health problems and stress-relieving activities and events.
