The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation and Texas State University's Department of Health and Human Performance present this unique afterschool program for students who attend Miller Middle school. The program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:10-5:45 this spring semester beginning Tuesday, February 7th and ending Thursday, March 9th. The program will not meet February 28th and March 2nd. Miller students will be led by Texas State University's Recreation Administration students in various Outdoor Education activities. Students will be met at the school by Youth Services staff for check in, then will be bussed to the Spring Lake Meadows Center to participate in outdoor recreation activities. At the conclusion of SLOEP at 5:45 pm students have the option to ride the bus home or be picked up from the Spring Lake Meadows Center.
