Course Description:
This is a class for those who are interested in learning Spanish fundamentals or improving the Spanish they know. While no previous knowledge of Spanish is required for the class, those who speak some Spanish will find opportunities to improve and expand their conversational skills. In order to ensure that you take away the most from the class, we’ll focus on relevant vocabulary, the simplest verb constructs, seven essential “irregular” verbs, and a few short phrases, all that you need for a solid foundation for surviving in Spanish.
Presented by Seth Worley:
Seth began teaching Spanish after earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Art in 1979. For over 40 years, he has taught Spanish, not as a career, but because of his love for the language. As someone who learned Spanish as an adult, he understands the unique challenges of language acquisition for adult learners.
San Marcos Parks and Recreation, in coordination with the Life Long Learning Association of San Marcos is offering new Life Long Learning courses for the greater San Marcos area. The classes are primarily for those age 50 and above, but adults of any age are welcome to register.
