About this event
Description
We invite you to join us at Lake Cunningham Park for the upcoming Color Walk and Resource Faire, a vibrant and engaging event tailored to celebrate both physical activity and community support.
A Color Walk is a unique and lively event that combines fitness, fun, and vibrant colors. Participants, often in large groups, embark on a walk through a designated course, and at various points along the route, they are showered with colorful powders. These colors are usually made of safe, non-toxic cornstarch or similar material.
Participants typically wear white clothing to showcase the vivid colors that accumulate on them as they move through the course. The primary goal of a Color Walk is to promote a sense of community, physical activity, and joy. It's a non-competitive and inclusive event, suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
*Lunch and Parking is included.
*Walkers get a free Color Walk t-shirt! First 150 to register. Sizes are limited.
*If you want to join the color walk but don't want to be splashed with color, you still can. We'll give you a special sticker to mark you as a 'no-color walker'."
