Activity Organizer: Lynn Nyane Email: lynn.nyane@gmail.com Dates: Wednesdays Time: 5:00 PM–5:50 PM Location: TBD Grades: 6–12 Cost: $100 Description: The World Scholar’s Cup is a prestigious international academic competition consisting of six subjects (science, social studies, history, literature, art & music, and a special area relevant to current events), collaborative writing, and team debate. There will be a regional round in March, a global round during the summer, and the Tournament of Champions in November at Yale University. (You will also get stuffed alpacas.) Please note that the competition is done in teams of three, so it’s advised to have a team in mind beforehand. If not, you may join a team with other club members in the same position.
