LOGIC AND ETHICS NEXUS CLUB Activity Organizer: Chuck Song Dates: Thursday Time: 4:00 PM–5:00 PM Grades: 6–12 Cost: Description: This club aims to help students develop logical reasoning and its real-world applications by participating in three main competitions: Ethics Bowl, International Logic Olympiad, and North American Computational Linguistics Open Competition. Ethics Bowl helps students analyze real-life ethical issues to gain a deeper ethical understanding and awareness of the world around students, International Logic Olympiad helps students learn about the direct applications of various logical thinking skills, while the North American Computational Linguistics Open Competition is a more practical use of logic to understanding other languages and cultures At the core of our mission lies the belief that logical reasoning must be honed to foster intellectual growth and ethical awareness among students.
