Activity Organizer: Lin Xu Email: xulin78@gmail.com Dates: 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month Times: 4:00 PM–5:00 PM Location: TBD Grades: 7–12 Cost: $50 Description: This club aims to provide basic knowledge of astrophysics and introduce students to computational methods used to analyze and visualize astronomical data. We also hope to incite more interest in astrophysics; strengthen skills in math, physics, and computer science; and encourage students to be critical thinkers. We will also invite guest speakers to come to club meetings throughout the year and cover topics including celestial mechanics and stellar objects along with simulations and visualizations.
