Description: Welcome to the Fine Arts History Club! Our club aims to provide students with a chance to learn the history behind how present-day art came to be. Through this club, students will explore the evolution of art, from the earliest cave paintings to the masterpieces of the Romantic era. We’ll dive into the stories behind famous masterpieces and other artwork, and explore the artist(s) who created them. Students will also gain techniques and ideas that inspired art styles and further improve their art by learning from previous artists. They will also be able to determine art from different periods of time. Whether you're an aspiring art historian or simply just love art, the club offers a welcoming space to learn, connect, and be inspired.
