Experience this ancient joyful and cultural dance form of celebration with a favorite Bay Area performer and instructor, Malia DeFelice. In the Beginners series, learn basic dance steps, posture, arm movements and signature Belly Dance moves while stretching, strengthening, gaining flexibility, grace, stamina and confidence. Dancers with no previous experience or those wishing to refresh previously learned skills are welcome. Links to short videos will be shared for home practice.
