Join PV School Gardens on the school farm for a seasonal cycle, exploring the bounty of the end of summer, the regenerative practices of fall, and garden preparation and storage for winter. Our weekly projects will be hands-on experiences in the school garden, including the practices of fermentation, preservation, seed saving, soil care, pest management, natural dyes, weaving, printmaking, preparation of garden tastings, harvesting, planting and composting! Students may be exposed to tree nuts, almonds, eggs, seeds and dairy. Not recommended for students with food allergies. Class is held rain or shine! An email will go to parents in the event weather creates a change in class location.
